Contact UsHow To Grow
Sow Scarlet Runner bean seeds 5 cm (2”) deep in dark, damp soil, spacing them 15 cm (6”) apart. Grow in double rows, leaving 30 cm (12”) between each row. Keep the roots cool and weed-free; mulching the garden with compost, peat, or straw will help considerably.
Ensure the soil has been well prepared with compost and organic material before planting. Seedlings will emerge in 7–10 days. Once your beans germinate, water regularly. Regular harvesting will encourage increased yields.

Refunds
All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Important Note
Additional fertiliser is not required as legumes will produce their own nitrogen.
Unlike other beans, runner beans do not self pollinate & will need help from beneficial insects.
During high evening temperatures, flowers may not set & will fall off. Spraying flowers with a fine mister spray will assist with pod set.
