Our Bee & Butterfly Flower Mix contains a mixture of 20 flower varieties that bees and butterflies will find irresistible. The flower seeds in our bee and butterfly flower seed mix include favourites such as cornflower, dianthus, and blue tansy, among many more varieties. These pollinator-attracting seeds can be scattered thinly or sown in various locations throughout your flower garden.

This blend includes varying proportions of: Agastache mexicana blue (Agastache), Allium schoenoprasum (Chives), Ammi majus (Queen Anne's Lace), Asclepias tuberosa (Butterfly Weed), Borago officinalis (Borage), Bupleurum rotundifolium (Hare's Ear), Centaurea cyanus (Cornflower), Cosmos bipinnatus (Cosmos), Dianthus barbatus (Dianthus), Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea), Eschscholzia californica (Californian Poppy), Gaillardia aristata (Blanket Flower), Ismelia carinata (Tricolour Chrysanthemum), Monarda citriodora (Lemon Beebalm), Nepeta cataria (Catnip), Nigella damascena (Nigella), Penstemon strictus (Rocky Mountain Penstemon), Phacelia tanacetifolia (Blue Tansy), Ratibida columnifera (Upright Prairie Coneflower), Tagetes patula (French Marigold).
How To Grow
Our Bee & Butterfly Flower Mix can be sown virtually year-round, avoiding the hottest and coldest months. The seeds can be scattered thinly or sown in the flowering position. Cover them lightly with a seed-raising mix, firm them down, and keep them moist. Thin out as necessary. Choose a well-drained soil and a sunny position. Flowers will appear after 8-14 weeks and continue over many months.
Seedlings emerge in 10-28 days.
