Jalapeno chilli seeds are a classic choice for anyone who enjoys traditional Mexican or Tex-Mex cuisine. These extremely popular thick-walled chillies carry a medium heat and a distinctive fresh pepper flavour. While they are typically harvested when green, leaving them to ripen to red will give them a sweeter, more complex taste. They can also be dried and smoked to make Chipotle chillies or pickled red or green to be enjoyed all year round!

Contact UsHow To Grow
Sow Jalapeno chilli seeds 5mm (1/4”) deep in seed trays, or directly in fertile, well-drained garden soil or pots. Cover the seeds lightly with fine soil and keep them moist. Seedlings will appear in 7–21 days. Ensure your plants receive plenty of sunlight for healthy growth. Harvest as required, approximately 12–14 weeks from sowing.
Pick chillies regularly to encourage further fruit growth.
Caution: Can irritate skin and eyes.

Refunds
All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.

Mango Chilli Salsa
Ingredients
- 200 g mango pulp, diced
- 100 g mango puree
- 1 red or green capsicum, diced
- 50 g red onions, finely chopped
- 10 g coriander leaves, chopped roughly
- Salt & white pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2-3 Jalapeno chilies, chopped
- 30ml olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients except the coriander leaves.
- Season well and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Add the coriander leaves just before serving.
