Our Cottage Garden Mix is blended to achieve an old-fashioned look. The Mr Fothergill’s Cottage Garden Mix is an easy-to-grow mix and contains an informal balance of flowers of various heights and colours, the tallest growing up to 90cm.
Our Cottage Garden Mix seeds include many traditional favourites, such as snapdragons and poppies, and many more beautiful flower seeds that are sure to brighten up your flower garden for a timeless look.
Includes: Antirrhinum majus (Snapdragon), Centaurea cyanus (Cornflower), Cosmos bipinnatus (Cosmos), Linaria maroccana (Linaria), Matthiola incana (Stock), Nigella damascena (Nigella), Papaver rhoeas (Poppy).

Contact UsHow To Grow
You can sow our Cottage Garden Mix seeds virtually year-round, avoiding the hottest and coldest months. The seeds can be scattered thinly or sown in the flowering position. Cover lightly with a seed-raising mix, firm down, and keep moist. Thin out as necessary. Choose a well-drained soil and a sunny position.
Flowers will appear after 8-14 weeks and continue over many months. Seedlings emerge in 10-28 days. Use mulch where possible to preserve moisture and deter weeds. Remove dead flower heads to prolong flowering.

Refunds
All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.
