Product Description
An excellent crisp vegetable which will liven up salads. Eaten green, the leaves are a little bitter, but blanched for a few days they develop a milder taste. Try as an interesting alternative to lettuce. For best results sow in a well drained soil, or soil that has been enriched and broken up by the addition of organic matter.

Drop seeds 6mm (quarter-inch) deep, in rows 25cm (10in) apart. Repeat at fortnightly intervals for succession. Thin out to 20-25cm (8-10in) apart and keep well watered.

Refunds
All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.
