A bold alternative to watercress, Land Cress gives a peppery kick with every bite: its fresh, zesty flavour spices up salads and sandwiches and brightens up meals as a garnish. This hardy variety does best in subtropical climates, with its impressive heat tolerance, resistance to leaf blight, and stocky roots (up to 18cm long, 6cm diameter). Plus, Land Cress is an excellent choice for beginner gardeners looking to grow something delicious because it’s low-maintenance too.

Contact UsHow To Grow
Sow your Land Cress seeds directly where you want them to grow, 5mm (¼”) deep, into prepared soil that has been well-watered. Keep the soil moist as they germinate and grow. Land Cress prefers shady positions, making it ideal for growing underneath tall crops such as sweet corn, climbing beans, or broccoli. Your seedlings should appear in 7-14 days.

Refunds
All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

All of us at Mr Fothergill's genuinely care for our customers and insist that the quality of all our seeds, bulbs, garden equipment and level of customer service are of the highest standards - we want you to enjoy shopping with us. However, we are only human and very occasionally things can go wrong with the picking or delivery process. Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.
