Stratifying seeds can improve germination. Place seeds on a damp paper towel and seal in a bag. Keep in the fridge for 3-4 weeks prior to sowing. Sow your English Dwarf lavender seeds thinly into a seedbed or trays of compost, just covering the small seeds. Keep the soil moist. Thin, prick out, or pot on as necessary, giving each plant room to develop. Harden off and transplant to their flowering position in the autumn, spacing them 45-60 cm apart. Mulch plants well for winter protection. Apply a complete fertiliser in spring and prune to shape after flowering. Flowering improves from second year.

All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.
