Mr Fothergill’s Sprouter jar kit makes growing sprouts very easy! All you need to add is water and seeds.
This high-quality seed sprouter has been designed to create the perfect growing conditions and provide a continuous supply of fresh and tasty sprouts. Perfect in the kitchen, it takes up minimal space and the sleek stylish design fingertip convenience all year round.
Sprout seeds included with kit are Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) and Mung Bean (Vigna radiata).

INSTRUCTIONS:
Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of your chosen seeds into each jar.
Cover the seeds with approximately 5cm of water.
Put the lid on the jar and allow it to sit overnight.
The next day, drain the water from the jar, leaving the lid on. Add fresh water to the jar, swishing the seeds around, and drain again.
Find an area out of direct sunlight and place the jar upside down on the tray to allow for drainage and air circulation.
Repeat the process 2-4 times a day. The seeds should never be allowed to dry out completely or left soaking in water. Sprouts are best eaten when they are small and just starting to turn green.
Dry and store the sprouts in a covered bowl. Keep refrigerated and use within a week of harvest.
The sprouts may take between 3-7 days to grow, depending on the variety.
The jars can be placed in the dishwasher. The tray is handwash only.
Avoid sprouts with dark brown or grey discolouring.

All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.
