Jarrahdale Pumpkin Seeds

Our Jarrahdale pumpkin seeds are a great choice for anyone who loves to cook. This vegetable seeds smooth flesh adds texture to soups and stews or takes on a deeper taste when roasted or grilled. One of the best things about Pumpkin Jarrahdale is its ability to store well. When harvested properly and kept in a cool, dry place, these unbelievable pumpkins can last for up to a year. Best results are obtained when grown in full sun on rich, well-drained soil.

How To Grow
Drop seeds 10cm (half inch) deep direct in final position. Sow 4 or 5 seeds in clumps, later thinning to the two strongest seedlings. Allow 100cm (3ft) between rows and 40-50cm (16-20in) between clumps. When the young plants have 5 or 6 leaves pinch out the growing tips to encourage growth of side shoots. Grow alongside a fence if space is limited. Keep plants well watered and prepare the soil well by adding organic material and/or complete fertiliser.

All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL), do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals.
Fungicide treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain varieties of seeds. It does not affect your crops or harm insects such as bees.
If your packet has been treated it will be well marked with a warning and the seeds will be dyed a distinct colour.
