Mixed Ranunculus F1 does best in well-drained soil and full sun. Plant them in late summer, as autumn planting bulbs, or in early winter for blooms the following year.
Soak the corms in water for an hour before planting for best results. Plant them with the “claws” facing down, spacing them 5-15cm (2-6 in), either in the ground or in a pot/container. Position the corms twice their own depth beneath the soil surface. If you're in a hot climate, choose a spot with some afternoon shade to protect them from the heat; otherwise, a sunny spot with at least six hours of sunlight each day is ideal.
During the early growing phase, ensure the top 10cm (4 in) of soil remains moist, but not overly wet, to support strong development. Once established, continue with regular watering for the best results.
For flowers that bloom from winter all the way through spring, feed with liquid fertiliser every two weeks once they start flowering. Harvest for cut flowers when the buds show colour, but haven’t fully opened yet. You can lift and store the corms for replanting next year, or leave them in the soil for a new round of blooms.
