Red Ranunculus F1 Bulbs

Frequently Bought Together
Product Description
Red Ranunculus F1 brings bold, rich red flowers to your garden, with double petals that stay full and layered throughout the life of the corm–unlike other varieties. Reaching a final height of 40-60cm (16-24 in), these fiery-red flowers grab your attention and don’t let go however they’re used.
As cut flowers, Red Ranunculus F1 truly shines. Their layered, rich red petals give bouquets a deep, velvety texture that is simply unmatched. Whether complemented with other flowers, contrasted against rich green foliage, or just displayed on their own, you’ll never tire of their colour. This variety of Ranunculus bulbs is as easy to grow as it is stunning; for best results, plant your Red Ranunculus bulbs in sunny, well-drained soil.

Red Ranunculus F1 corms do best in full sun and well-drained soil. These are autumn planting bulbs, but late summer and early winter work well too.
Soak the bulbs in water for up to an hour before planting. When planting, place the corm with the claws facing down, spacing them 5-15cm (2-6 in) apart, and bury the corm at twice its height below the soil surface. They do as well in pots/containers as they do in garden beds. If you live in a particularly hot area, choose a location that offers afternoon shade to protect them from the intense sun, but otherwise, ensure they get at least six hours of full sun a day.
Water regularly during the early growth stages, keeping the top 10cm (4 in) of soil moist but not waterlogged. Once established, continue regular watering for healthy plant development.
For long-lasting blooms through winter and spring, apply liquid fertiliser every two weeks once the plants start to bloom. For cut flowers, harvest when the buds have developed colour but are still closed. You can lift and store the corms for next year or leave them in the ground to reflower.
