Organic Matador spinach grows tender, dark green oval leaves that are great for everything from fresh salads to cooked dishes. You can pick these spinach seeds young as baby spinach or let them grow bigger and darker for a more substantial crop.
This spinach is hardy and easy to grow, even in smaller spaces like patio pots or window boxes – it’s a fast-growing variety that doesn’t need a lot of fuss. Sow Matador spinach seeds in late summer to winter, or early spring in cooler areas. Plant the seeds about 12mm (1/2in) deep in rows 20cm (12in) apart, and repeat sowing every three weeks for a continuous crop. Spinach grows quickly, and you can expect seedlings to emerge in 14-21 days. During dry spells, water regularly to keep the soil moist, especially during dry spells, but avoid waterlogging your spinach plants. Once your spinach is ready, you can begin harvesting young leaves for baby spinach or let the leaves grow larger for a heartier crop.

Refunds
All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.
