Tomato Siberian
Enjoy an early harvest of juicy, sweet tomatoes with Siberian tomato seeds from Mr. Fothergill’s. These hardy heirloom seeds thrive in cooler temperatures, germinating and setting fruit in conditions as low as 8°C. The medium-sized, sweet, and flavoursome tomato seeds make them a great addition to any dish. With early cropping and a little staking for support, you’ll be harvesting tomatoes in no time. Once they’re up and running, these tomatoes need very little maintenance, so you can enjoy the fruits of your labour with minimal fuss.
Pair your Siberian tomato seeds with other great options, like our vegetable seeds for other garden favourites, or try something special from our heirloom seeds range to add a unique twist to your garden. For an even earlier harvest, check out our fast-cropping plants–they’re perfect for getting a jumpstart on the growing season.
How To Grow
Sow your Siberian tomato seeds from late winter to early autumn or all year round in frost-free areas. Plant seeds 5mm (¼”) deep in pots or trays of seed-raising mix compost or sow directly in their final growing position. Once the seedlings are sturdy enough, transfer them to their final fruiting position. Water well and feed regularly once the first truss has set. Staking is required to support the plants. Seedlings will emerge in 7–14 days.
