Contact UsHow To Grow
Sow Paris Market Carrot seeds 5mm (1/4in) deep directly into a well-prepared garden bed or container filled with quality soil. Space rows or blocks 20cm (8in) apart, and cover the seeds lightly with fine soil, firming it gently. Water thoroughly after sowing to ensure good seed-to-soil contact. Seedlings usually emerge within 10-14 days.
Once seedlings are established, thin them out to 5cm (2in) apart to allow room for the roots to develop their distinctive round shape. Keep the soil moist and the area weed-free to promote healthy growth. These carrots are well-suited to shallow or challenging soils and respond well to consistent care. Harvest your Paris Market carrots 10-12 weeks after sowing, selecting them when they are fully formed but still tender.
