Zucchini Lebanese
The Lebanese Zucchini is a particular favourite with Australian gardeners! These best-selling zucchini seeds give large yields of tender, pale green, mottled fruits with a slightly tapered shape and a wonderfully sweet flavour, which some liken to hazelnuts. Easy to grow and care for, they thrive in a sunny, sheltered position with rich, well-draining soil.
Lebanese Zucchini plants have a compact ‘bush’ growth habit, making them a great choice for smaller gardens. They are fast croppers and prolific producers, ensuring you'll have plenty of fresh, delicious zucchinis throughout the growing season. Harvest when 12-15cm long to enjoy the fruits at their most tender and flavourful – they’re excellent sautéed, grilled, stuffed, fried, or even added fresh to salads.

How To Grow
Sow your Lebanese Zucchini seeds 12mm (1/2") deep directly in their final position. Sow 3 or 4 seeds in clumps, later thinning to the two strongest seedlings. Allow 100cm (3ft) between rows and space plants 100cm (3ft) apart. Keep your zucchini plants well-watered and prepare the soil well by adding organic material and complete fertiliser.
